Australian National University (ANU) visits Enterprises University of Pretoria to further collaborations and business opportunities in Africa

Representatives from the Australian National University (ANU) were hosted at Enterprises University of Pretoria (Enterprises UP) on Tuesday, 15 March 2016 in a bid to strengthen ties between the two entities and lay the groundwork for future collaborations.

The APCD delivers and facilitates diplomatic training and has developed courses – some in cooperation with partners such as Enterprises UP – on how to deal in and with regional institutions, as well as in areas of modern diplomacy, multilateralism, strategy and diplomacy, defence diplomacy, development diplomacy, public diplomacy and religion and diplomacy.

Ms Haese previously conducted diplomacy training with the Department of Political Sciences at the University of Pretoria (UP) and she is keen to look at furthering business opportunities in Africa through Enterprises UP. As such, Enterprises UP has also recently been awarded a contract through the Australia Awards for Africa Programme to jointly present a course in Minerals and Energy Economics with ANU.

The Australian National University is ranked among the top 20 universities in the world, and currently ranked top of the list in Australia.
