Delegates’ success in religious and ministry-related training and skills development commended.
The Centre for Contextual Ministry (CCM) recently hosted its annual certificate ceremony in celebration of delegates who have successfully completed various courses during 2015 in collaboration with Enterprises University of Pretoria (Enterprises UP) at the Doxa Deo Brooklyn Campus.
The Right Reverend Bishop Kevin Dowling (C.Ss.R.) lauded the delegates for their achievements and their courage in taking up a life of service to the community. He encouraged them to use their “learnings by influencing society in a positive way” and he emphasised the importance of the work being done by Dr Stephan de Beer, Enterprises UP and the CCM in inspiring and delivering life-changing research and training for the counselling enhancement of embattled communities.
The CCM, through Enterprises UP, presents a variety of courses that focus on teachings regarding ministry, healing, community upliftment and emotional and spiritual restoration. Their courses are designed around the most pressing training needs as assessed through on-going research in communities. In this way, the CCM ensures that the content of courses and programmes remain relevant to the questions and challenges communities are facing.
