Enterprises University of Pretoria bestows award to dedicated educator at EduWeek Awards 2016
Enterprises University of Pretoria (Enterprises UP) bestowed an award to a deserving educator dedicated to make a difference in education on Wednesday, 29 June 2016 at the second EduWeek Awards as part of the annual EduWeek celebrations at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.
Celebrating excellence across the African education ecosystem, the Awards celebrate leading teachers, suppliers, institutions and education professionals – from the most innovative and life-changing products and services, to local heroes who go above and beyond – all of whom assist their communities and those who form part of it.
Enterprises UP found it befitting to sponsor the Educator Who Cares award as it is strongly aligned to our values and ethos, as well as our strong belief that leaders in schools play a central role in moulding the continent’s leaders of tomorrow.
The award was bestowed to Mr Sehoole Moses Sello, principal of Mankuroane Technical and Commercial Secondary in the North West, recognising an educator and leader who shows care and concern for the holistic development of his learners and who always goes the extra mile to ensure they develop into confident and independent human beings.
Enterprises UP would like to congratulate Mr Sello and all the finalists who were nominated for on the night. We celebrate all your achievements and success.
