After a delegation to Frankfurt, Germany in April 2016, by invitation of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Enterprises University of Pretoria (Enterprises UP) and the Frankfurt School have agreed to pursue an institutional collaboration on implementing training, research and consultation to financial sector stakeholders.
The collaboration will aim to establish sustainable training, research and capacity-building measures within the African financial sector, while also allowing for continued growth in banking, finance and business development over the longer term. As such, the two institutions are looking towards building a closer relationship in the development, integration and execution of new and existing programmes in the field.
As one of its core mandates in the International Advisory Services, the Frankfurt School partners with reputable local institutions to provide training and capacity building to small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs), as well as finance professionals, within southern Africa. Enterprises UP has been identified as a stalwart service provider within the region through which the structures and academics of the University of Pretoria can be engaged for this purpose.
