Presented by a world authority on innovation management and practical application of innovation methodology in manufacturing, services and supply chain organizations, Prof Adegoke Oke (BEng., MBA, PhD) will provide delegates with insights into identifying and implementing innovative ideas, as well as fostering new and existing business relationships. The course combines theory with practice with the goal of equipping the delegate with a toolbox to handle a broad range of innovation-related issues. The course is based on a collection of research ideas and frameworks that have been tried and tested in combination with a broad range of cases to steer each delegate towards practical innovation within their company. Prof Oke has consulted in several corporate organizations such asVirgin Atlantic, Skanska USA, Boeing Co., Avent Inc., Halifax Bank of Scotland, AXA Insurance & Royal Sun Alliance and worked as project manager for Shell petroleum in Nigeria. He is presently a professor at the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, USA where he teaches courses in strategic procurement, technology and innovation management, operations management and global supply chain management. With vast exposure to industry innovation across the globe, the delegates will be able to tap into the wealth of knowledge and applications presented in this course in order to foster innovation and business development in their organizations.
