Status update to delegates and prospective delegates

President Cyril Ramaphosa has in his official address on 1 January 2022 announced that South Africa will continue to follow Alert Level 1 regulations of the phased resumption of economic activity effective as of 13 September 2021. 

Following the introduction of the adjusted Level 1 regulations, Enterprises UP reviewed certain approaches for business operations to ensure the safety of delegates and staff:

• Enterprises UP is currently operating fully virtually
• Public face to face courses/sessions starting from 25 July 2021 to 2 August 2021 will be postponed or converted to online.
• Face to face sessions for online courses may continue if the employer permits. It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken.

The following precautionary measures will apply for presentation of contact-based training sessions:

1. Only venues which comply with COVID-19 protocol and safety measures will be utilised.
2. Written confirmation will be obtained from the service provider, confirming that the facilities were disinfected and cleaned in the morning before commencement of the training.
3. The training venue will be set up to ensure a 1.5 meter distance between delegates and from the facilitator’s desk. A maximum of 50 delegates is allowed per venue (while practicing social distancing).
4. Training facilities, bathrooms and catering areas will be disinfected regularly and cleaned during every break.
5. No self-service buffet will be allowed.
6. The venue will ensure that all equipment and cutlery (takeaway included) are sanitised after use.
7. The refreshment station and all surrounding surfaces will be cleaned and sanitised after every use.
8. A declaration form must be completed and signed by each delegate and submitted to Enterprises UP before attending the training.
9. Each delegate must wear a face mask on arrival and throughout the training session. The delegates are responsible to supply their own face masks. The facilitator will also be required to wear a mask during the training.
10. The venue provider will conduct daily screening as per requirements.
11. Delegates who have a fever of 37, 5°C or present two or more COVID-19 related symptoms will not be allowed to attend the training session.
12. The venue provider will apply the required protocols to deal with delegates who develop COVID-19 related symptoms during the training session. Alternative arrangements for transfer or cancellation of the registration must be made by the delegate.

How will I receive my results and certificate?

Certificates will be dispatched via registered mail. During Level 3, no certificates may be collected from the Enterprises building, as Enterprises UP remains to operate virtually until further notice.

All certificate ceremonies will remain postponed until further notice.
