It has been a fruitful start to the year for Enterprises University of Pretoria (Enterprises UP) Training Solutions team as they welcomed Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA) delegation on 25 February 2020.
The purpose for the visit from the Accra based organisation aimed at exploring various training initiatives that GSA could explore with Enterprises UP. With our broad spectrum of training programmes offered, GSA showed a keen interest in multiple fields of study. The visit further solidified Enterprises UP’s continued support of University of Pretoria’s (UP) efforts for global and international footprint expansion through meaningful partnerships.
GSA has been at the frontline of Ghana’s maritime industry since its establishment in 1974. Over the years GSA has collaborated with private and public organizations in the maritime industry to pursue its primary objective of protecting and promoting the interests of shippers in Ghana, in relation to port, ship and inland transport problems in order to ensure safe, reliable and cost effective cargo handling.
The GSA delegation consisting of Benonita B. Bismarck (CEO) and Emmanuel Arku (Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Head) was accompanied by Estelle Viviers (Business Manager) and Immaculate Ramokgadi (Sales Manager) around the UP campus, highlighting the various architectural developments over the past couple of years. The nature of the discussions between both organisations will manifest in the next coming months.
