Brief Description

The HIV and AIDS Counselling and Management short course provides you with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the challenging field of HIV and AIDS with the aim to intervene through appropriate counselling or therapy methods and health management. During the course, you will gain invaluable insights to various aspects of the counselling process, including basic facts about HIV and AIDS, pre- and post-test counselling, living positively with HIV, managing HIV and AIDS in the workplace, counselling those infected and affected in the long-term, caring for the caregiver, psychosocial and ethical issues, as well as terminal care and bereavement counselling.
