Brief Description

The Procurement and Supply Chain Management in the Public Sector short course will equip you with the necessary skills to apply integrated supply chain management principles, to operationalise the legislative requirements as per the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) and accompanying Regulations (PPPFR).
You will also be introduced to the roles and functions of the various bid committees, as well as the application of the preference point system by the different committees.
The broad overview given of the Implementation Guide for the PPPFR will allow the three committees to for fill their delegations and constitutional mandate.
