Shifting knowledge to insight
The short course in Sustainable Management focuses on how sustainability is relevant within technology, engineering and business, as part of our daily functioning. Considering the complex nature of sustainability, this course investigates the frameworks that are key to unpack complexity. The role technology plays towards sustainability from a life cycle perspective will also be highlighted. During the course, multiple dimensions of sustainability will be discussed and a number of case studies are used to illustrate the application of sustainability across different sectors/industries. Furthermore, the impact of individual and collective behaviour and ethics are addressed. In conclusion, the role and impact policy tends to have within an interconnected global society is investigated. |
