Brief Description

Train-the-Trainer: Wellness in the Workplace courses provides you with the knowledge, skills and insights to become an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)/Wellness professional/practitioner in private practice, private companies, government departments or service provider organisations. These courses will enhance your knowledge of the wellness field to enable you to successfully offer training in the covered fields, under the auspices of BSS-AFRICA. With a good grasp of the rationale of these programmes to be offered to employees in the work environment, you may become an accredited trainer. Terms and conditions apply.

Train-the-Trainer:  Healthy Lifestyle Programme

The Healthy Lifestyle Programme will assist delegates in promoting the most important aspects needed for a healthy lifestyle. It will help delegates to assist employees to improve their quality of life both at work and at home.

Course Content

By attending the course, delegates will be orientated on:

  • What a healthy lifestyle entails
  • How to promote a healthy lifestyle
  • The topics to be discussed
  • How well do you sleep?
  • How well do you eat?
  • How active are you?
  • The way you think
  • Managing your own stress
  • Building relationships

Contact teaching model

The contact teaching model will provide you with: a study guide, course schedule, and PowerPoint presentations which you may use to study on your own.

However, you need to be able to attend all lectures over a three-day period with a fourth day for the written examination.
